test/e2e: fix incorrect usage of CreateTempDirInTempDir()
Creating a new diretory results in the test leaking it when it is not
removed via a defer call. All tests have already access to
`podmanTest.TempDir` which will be automatically removed in the
`AfterEach()` block.

While some test were fine other forgot the defer call. To keep the test
consitent and prevent other from making the same mistake convert all
users to `podmanTest.TempDir`. `CreateTempDirInTempDir()` is only used
for the `podmanTest.Setup()` call.

test/e2e: use custom network config dir where needed
Since commit f250560a80 the play kube command uses its own network.
this is racy be design because we create the network followed by
creating/running pod/containers. This means in the meantime another
prune or reset process could wipe out the network config because we have
to share the network config directory by design in the test.

The problem is we only have one host netns which is shared between
tests. If the network config dir is not shared we cannot make conflict
checks for interface names and ip address. This results in different
tests trying to use the same interface and/or ip address which will
cause runtime failures in CNI and netavark.

The only solution I see is to make sure only the reset/prune tests are
using a custom network dir. This makes sure they do not wipe configs
that are otherwise required by other parallel running tests.

Ed Santiago 51836aa47c e2e tests: reenable long-skipped build test
July 2022: test was flaking on new VM images. We needed new
images, so I filed #15014 and skipped the test.

January 2023: no attention from anyone, so I'll try bumping up
a dd timeout from 10s to 30s. But in the interim, the test
has broken: it used to expect "Containerfile" in output (this
was deliberately added in #13655)... but #16810 changed that
so Containerfile no longer appears. @flouthoc argues that
this too is deliberate (#17059). Okay, so let's change the
test then. All I care about is not adding more regressions.

The remote client should be allowed to specify if the container should

Ed Santiago 0a160fed77 Bump VMs, to Ubuntu 2204 with cgroups v1
...and enable the at-test-time confirmation, the one that
double-checks that if CI requests runc we actually use runc.
This exposed a nasty surprise in our setup: there are steps to
define $OCI_RUNTIME, but that's actually a total fakeout!
OCI_RUNTIME is used only in e2e tests, it has no effect
whatsoever on actual podman itself as invoked via command
line such as in system tests. Solution: use containers.conf

Given how fragile all this runtime stuff is, I've also added
new tests (e2e and system) that will check $CI_DESIRED_RUNTIME.

Image source: https://github.com/containers/automation_images/pull/146

Since we haven't actually been testing with runc, we need
to fix a few tests:

  - handle an error-message change (make it work in both crun and runc)
  - skip one system test, "survive service stop", that doesn't
    work with runc and I don't think we care.

...and skip a bunch, filing issues for each:

  - #15013 pod create --share-parent
  - #15014 timeout in dd
  - #15015 checkpoint tests time out under $CONTAINER
  - #15017 networking timeout with registry
  - #15018 restore --pod gripes about missing --pod
  - #15025 run --uidmap broken
  - #15027 pod inspect cgrouppath broken
  - ...and a bunch more ("podman pause") that probably don't
    even merit filing an issue.

Also, use /dev/urandom in one test (was: /dev/random) because
the test is timing out and /dev/urandom does not block. (But
the test is still timing out anyway, even with this change)

Also, as part of the VM switch we are now using go 1.18 (up
from 1.17) and this broke the gitlab tests. Thanks to @Luap99
for a quick fix.

Also, slight tweak to #15021: include the timeout value, and
reword message so command string is at end.

Also, fixed a misspelling in a test name.

Ashley Cui 9ce3c0a87a Move secret-verify-leak containerfile into its own Directory
Secret-verify-leak is causing flakes, when running in parallel tests.
This is because remote secrets are copied into the context directory to
send to the API server, and secret-verify-leak is doing a COPY * and
then checking if the temporary secret file ends up in the container or
not. Since all the temporary files are prefixed with
"podman-build-secret", this test checks if podman-build-secret is in the
image. However, when run in parallel with other tests, other temporary
podman-build-secrets might be in the context dir. Moving
secret-verify-leak into its own directory makes sure that the context
dir is used only by this one test.

Also renamed Dockerfile -> Containerfile and cleaned up unused
Containerfiles.

container: workdir resolution must consider symlink if explicitly configured
While resolving `workdir` we mostly create a `workdir` when `stat`
fails with `ENOENT` or `ErrNotExist` however following cases are not
true when user explicitly specifies a `workdir` while `running` using
`--workdir` which tells `podman` to only use workdir if its exists on
the container. Following configuration is implicity set with other
`run` mechanism like `podman play kube`

Problem with explicit `--workdir` or similar implicit config in `podman play
kube` is that currently podman ignores the fact that workdir can also be
a `symlink` and actual `link` could be valid.

Hence following commit ensures that in such scenarios when a `workdir`
is not found and we cannot create a `workdir` podman must perform a
check to ensure that if `workdir` is a `symlink` and `link` is resolved
successfully and resolved link is present on the container then we
return as it is.

Docker performs a similar behviour.

Ed Santiago 97ab9176f7 e2e tests: clean up antihelpful BeTrue()s
Many ginkgo tests have been written to use this evil form:

    GrepString("foo")
    Expect(that to BeTrue())

...which yields horrible useless messages on failure:

    false is not true

Identify those (automatically, via script) and convert to:

    Expect(output to ContainSubstring("foo"))

...which yields:

    "this output" does not contain substring "foo"

There are still many BeTrue()s left. This is just a start.

This is commit 1 of 2. It includes the script I used, and
all changes to *.go are those computed by the script.

Ed Santiago 547fff2703 e2e tests: use Should(Exit()) and ExitWithError()
e2e test failures are rife with messages like:

   Expected 1 to equal 0

These make me cry. They're anti-helpful, requiring the reader
to dive into the source code to figure out what those numbers
mean.

Solution: Go tests have a '.Should(Exit(NNN))' mechanism. I
don't know if it spits out a better diagnostic (I have no way
to run e2e tests on my laptop), but I have to fantasize that
it will, and given the state of our flakes I assume that at
least one test will fail and give me the opportunity to see
what the error message looks like.

THIS IS NOT REVIEWABLE CODE. There is no way for a human
to review it. Don't bother. Maybe look at a few random
ones for sanity. If you want to really review, here is
a reproducer of what I did:

   cd test/e2e
   ! positive assertions. The second is the same as the first,
   ! with the addition of (unnecessary) parentheses because
   ! some invocations were written that way. The third is BeZero().
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.To\(Equal\((\d+)\)\)/Expect($1).Should(Exit($2))/' *_test.go
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.To\(\(Equal\((\d+)\)\)\)/Expect($1).Should(Exit($2))/' *_test.go
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.To\(BeZero\(\)\)/Expect($1).Should(Exit(0))/' *_test.go

   ! Same as above, but handles three non-numeric exit codes
   ! in run_exit_test.go
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.To\(Equal\((\S+)\)\)/Expect($1).Should(Exit($2))/' *_test.go

   ! negative assertions. Difference is the spelling of 'To(Not)',
   ! 'ToNot', and 'NotTo'. I assume those are all the same.
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.To\(Not\(Equal\((0)\)\)\)/Expect($1).To(ExitWithError())/' *_test.go
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.ToNot\(Equal\((0)\)\)/Expect($1).To(ExitWithError())/' *_test.go
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.NotTo\(Equal\((0)\)\)/Expect($1).To(ExitWithError())/' *_test.go
   ! negative, old use of BeZero()
   perl -pi -e 's/Expect\((\S+)\.ExitCode\(\)\)\.ToNot\(BeZero\(\)\)/Expect($1).Should(ExitWithError())/' *_test.go

Run those on a clean copy of main branch (at the same branch
point as my PR, of course), then diff against a checked-out
copy of my PR. There should be no differences. Then all you
have to review is that my replacements above are sane.

UPDATE: nope, that's not enough, you also need to add gomega/gexec
to the files that don't have it:

   perl -pi -e '$_ .= "$1/gexec\"\n" if m!^(.*/onsi/gomega)"!' $(grep -L gomega/gexec $(git log -1 --stat | awk '$1 ~ /test\/e2e\// { print $1}'))

podman-remote fix sending tar content
1.) podman cannot send proper dockerfile when it is not inside root

2.) support for sending symlinks and folders inside context dir
3.) when sending context dir as tar to remote, prevent sending items
