Do not mount sysfs as rootless in more cases

Matthew Heon 95c45773d7 Do not mount sysfs as rootless in more cases
We can't mount sysfs as rootless unless we manage the network
namespace. Problem: slirp4netns is now creating and managing a
network namespace separate from the OCI runtime, so we can't
mount sysfs in many circumstances. The `crun` OCI runtime will
automatically handle this by falling back to a bind mount, but
`runc` will not, so we didn't notice until RHEL gating tests ran
on the new branch.

This PR allows users to remove external containers directly
Currenly if a user specifies the name or ID of an external storage
container, we report an error to them.

buildah from scratch
working-container-2
podman rm working-container-2
Error: no container with name or ID working-container-2 found: no such container

Since the user specified the correct name and the container is in storage we
force them to specify --storage to remove it. This is a bad experience for the
user.

This change will just remove the container from storage. If the container
is known by libpod, it will remove the container from libpod as well.

The podman rm --storage option has been deprecated, and removed from docs.

Also cleaned documented options that are not available to podman-remote.

Properly handle podman run --pull command
Currently the --pull missing|always|never is ignored

This PR implements this for local API. For remote we
need to default to pullpolicy specified in the containers.conf
file.

Also fixed an issue when images were matching other images names
based on prefix, causing images to always be pulled.

I had named an image myfedora and when ever I pulled fedora, the system
thought that it there were two images named fedora since it was checking
for the name fedora as well as the prefix fedora. I changed it to check
for fedora and the prefix /fedora, to prefent failures like I had.

With previous versions of Podman (like v1.9.2) it was always possible to

Paul Holzinger d10bc9f045 fix pod creation with "new:" syntax followup + allow hostname
Fixes: 4c75fe3f70 ("fix pod creation with "new:" syntax")

Commit 4c75fe3f70 passes all net options to the pod but forgot
to unset the options for the container creation. This leads to
erros when using flags like `--ip` since we tried setting
the ip on the pod and container which obviously fails.

I didn't notice the bug because we don't throw an error when
specifing port bindings on a container which joins the pods
network namespace. (#7373)

Also allow the use of `--hostname` and pass that option to the
pod and unset it for the container. The container has to use
the pods hostname anyway. This would error otherwise.

Added tests to prevent regression.

Matthew Heon 39c493b3fc Do not use image CMD if user gave ENTRYPOINT
This matches Docker behavior, and seems to make sense - the CMD
may have been specific to the original entrypoint and probably
does not make sense if it was changed.

While we're in here, greatly simplify the logic for populating
the SpecGen's Command. We create the full command when making the
OCI spec, so the client should not be doing any more than setting
it to the Command the user passed in, and completely ignoring
ENTRYPOINT.

Matthew Heon 333d9af77a Ensure WORKDIR from images is created
A recent crun change stopped the creation of the container's
working directory if it does not exist. This is arguably correct
for user-specified directories, to protect against typos; it is
definitely not correct for image WORKDIR, where the image author
definitely intended for the directory to be used.

This makes Podman create the working directory and chown it to
container root, if it does not already exist, and only if it was
specified by an image, not the user.

This will allow containers that connect to the network namespace be
able to use the container name directly.

For example you can do something like

podman run -ti --name foobar fedora ping foobar

While we can do this with hostname now, this seems more natural.

Also if another container connects on the network to this container it
can do

podman run --network container:foobar fedora ping foobar

And connect to the original container, without having to discover the name.

Stefan Becker e4cba7d36a create: improve parser for --healthcheck-command
Fix Docker CLI compatibility issue: the "--healthcheck-command" option
value should not be split but instead be passed as single string to
"CMD-SHELL", i.e. "/bin/sh -c <opt>".

On the other hand implement the same extension as is already available
for "--entrypoint", i.e. allow the option value to be a JSON array of
strings. This will make life easier for tools like podman-compose.

Updated "--healthcheck-command" option values in tests accordingly.

Ed Santiago 40eb0453ad fix broken healthcheck tests
Four of the healthcheck tests were completely broken. They
were written with the option '--healthcheck-cmd' which is
not an option (it should be '--healthcheck-command', with
'command' as a full word). The tests were merely checking
exit code, not error message, so of course they failed.
I have fixed the command line and added checks for the
expected diagnostic.

(Side note: do not write tests that check exit code but
nothing else. This should not need to be said).

One of the four tests was invalid: --healthcheck-interval 0.5s.
Per Brent:

initially i was going to restrict sub one-second intervals

That test has been removed. It would probably be a good idea
for a future PR to add some validation such as preventing
negative values, but that's left as an exercise for later.

  * --healthcheck-command
  * --healthcheck-retries
  * --healthcheck-interval
  * --healthcheck-start-period

* podman create|run --healthcheck-command=none disables healthcheck as
described by an image.
* the healthcheck itself and the healthcheck "history" can now be
observed in podman inspect
* added the wiring for healthcheck history which logs the health history
of the container, the current failed streak attempts, and log entries
for the last five attempts which themselves have start and stop times,
result, and a 500 character truncated (if needed) log of stderr/stdout.

Valentin Rothberg 75578aad61 add container-init support
Add support for executing an init binary as PID 1 in a container to
forward signals and reap processes. When the `--init` flag is set for
podman-create or podman-run, the init binary is bind-mounted to
`/dev/init` in the container and "/dev/init --" is prepended to the
container's command.

The default base path of the container-init binary is `/usr/libexec/podman`
while the default binary is catatonit [1]. This default can be changed
permanently via the `init_path` field in the `libpod.conf` configuration
file (which is recommended for packaging) or temporarily via the
`--init-path` flag of podman-create and podman-run.

W. Trevor King a4b483c848 libpod/container_internal: Deprecate implicit hook directories
Part of the motivation for 800eb863 (Hooks supports two directories,
process default and override, 2018-09-17, #1487) was [1]:

> We only use this for override. The reason this was caught is people
> are trying to get hooks to work with CoreOS. You are not allowed to
> write to /usr/share... on CoreOS, so they wanted podman to also look
> at /etc, where users and third parties can write.

But we'd also been disabling hooks completely for rootless users. And
even for root users, the override logic was tricky when folks actually
had content in both directories. For example, if you wanted to
disable a hook from the default directory, you'd have to add a no-op
hook to the override directory.

Also, the previous implementation failed to handle the case where
there hooks defined in the override directory but the default
directory did not exist:

With this commit:

  $ podman --log-level=debug run --rm docker.io/library/alpine echo 'successful container' 2>&1 | grep -i hook
  time="2018-12-02T21:33:07-08:00" level=debug msg="reading hooks from /usr/share/containers/oci/hooks.d"

(I'd setup the hook to error out). You can see that it's silenly
ignoring the ENOENT for /usr/share/containers/oci/hooks.d and
continuing on to load hooks from /etc/containers/oci/hooks.d.

When it loads the hook, it also logs a warning-level message
suggesting that callers explicitly configure their hook directories.
That will help consumers migrate, so we can drop the implicit hook
directories in some future release. When folks *do* explicitly
configure hook directories (via the newly-public --hooks-dir and
hooks_dir options), we error out if they're missing:

$ podman --hooks-dir /does/not/exist run --rm docker.io/library/alpine echo 'successful container'
error setting up OCI Hooks: open /does/not/exist: no such file or directory

I've dropped the trailing "path" from the old, hidden --hooks-dir-path
and hooks_dir_path because I think "dir(ectory)" is already enough
context for "we expect a path argument". I consider this name change
non-breaking because the old forms were undocumented.

Coming back to rootless users, I've enabled hooks now. I expect they
were previously disabled because users had no way to avoid
/usr/share/containers/oci/hooks.d which might contain hooks that
required root permissions. But now rootless users will have to
explicitly configure hook directories, and since their default config
is from ~/.config/containers/libpod.conf, it's a misconfiguration if
it contains hooks_dir entries which point at directories with hooks
that require root access. We error out so they can fix their
libpod.conf.

This PR makes several key changes to our CI testing. Firstly, we now test
podman on fedora 28, fedora 29, and centos VMS (rather than containers). Any
of these that having failing tests are not marked as required yet. We
still preserve the podman in podman and podman in docker tests as well and
they are marked as required.

The lint and validate work is now done on a openshift container. We also
removed the rpm verification on papr and perform this test under the "images"
test on the openshift ci.

This PR exposes integration test fails on some of our OSs. My expectation is we
will fix those in additional PRs and as they are fixed, we should be flipping
the boolean bit to required.

This is an incomplete fix, as it would be best for the libpod library to be in charge of coordinating the container's dependencies on the infra container. A TODO was left as such. UTS is a special case, because the docker library that namespace handling is based off of doesn't recognize a UTS based on another container as valid, despite the library being able to handle it correctly. Thus, it is left in the old way.

baude a6de23278a Use REGISTRIES_CONFIG_PATH for all tests
We should not be using the test systems registries.conf file for integration
tests. We should always use a constructed file created specifically for the
integration tests or we stand to have unpredictable results. The beforeTest
function now sets an environment variable pointing to a registries.conf file
in the test's tempdir. That file will container docker.io as a default.

The afterTest function then clears the environment variable.

baude 433cbd5254 Show duration for each ginkgo test and test speed improvements
Because our tests are getting so long, we want to be able to audit which tests are taking
the longest to complete. This may indicate a bad test, bad CI, bad code, etc and therefore
should be auditable.

Also, make speed improvements to tests by making sure we only unpack caches images that
actually get used.

Currently we are giving all caps to users when running with podman run --user,
They should get none by default. If the command line includes --cap-add, then
we need to run with those capabilties. Similarly we need to drop caps from
