The performance issue in #19467 drove me to add a benchmark for system-df to avoid regressing on it in the future. A set of scripts to compare the performance of two container engines
Run the scripts via sudo sh $script.sh.
WARNING: Running any script will run systemd prune.
Use the following environment variables to change the default behavior:
ENGINE_Ato set container engine A (defaultpodman)ENGINE_Bto set container engine B (defaultdocker)RUNSto change the runs/repetitions of each benchmarks (default100)NUM_CONTAINERSto change the number of created containers for some benchmarks (e.g.,ps) (default100)IMAGEto change the default container image (defaultdocker.io/library/alpine:latest)
