These hooks return a "cleanup" func which is called when the top-level
operation completes, with an indicator of which result.
This is to enable much simpler handling of allocations in Service's REST
implementation, in particular.
Some discussion in https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/95967
This also adds tests for the almost totally untested Decorator,
AfterCreate, and AfterUpdate hooks.
Kubernetes-commit: 67c9761623052d147a58807caced1c89262fe30d
Attempting to add ResourceVersion precondition to
eviction requests results in a conflict failure. This
is due to the fact that we apply a deletion timestamp
which mutates the underlying resource. The resource
version is then checked again later in the code.
This commit removes the ResourceVersion precondition
after the object has a deletion timestamp applied.

http.NewRequest can return an error. (Eg. error parsing url).
This will cause us to have a nil req object.
That in turn will become a SIGSEGV when we set the context.

conflict.
Adding unit test verify that deleteValidation is retried.
adding e2e test verifying the webhook can intercept configmap and custom
resource deletion, and the existing object is sent via the
admissionreview.OldObject.
update the admission integration test to verify that the existing object
is passed to the deletion admission webhook as oldObject, in case of an
immediate deletion and in case of an update-on-delete.
Kubernetes-commit: 7bb4a3bace048cb9cd93d0221a7bf7c4accbf6be
- Move from the old github.com/golang/glog to k8s.io/klog
- klog as explicit InitFlags() so we add them as necessary
- we update the other repositories that we vendor that made a similar
change from glog to klog
* github.com/kubernetes/repo-infra
* k8s.io/gengo/
* k8s.io/kube-openapi/
* github.com/google/cadvisor
- Entirely remove all references to glog
- Fix some tests by explicit InitFlags in their init() methods

Kubernetes-commit: 954996e231074dc7429f7be1256a579bedd8344c
This ensures that request cancellation will be propagated properly to
the client used to create the stream. Without this fix, the apiserver
and the kubelet may leak resources (e.g., goroutine, inotify watches).
One such example is that if user run `kubectl logs -f <container that
don't produce new logs)` and then enter ctrl-c, both kubelet and
apiserver will hold on to the connection and resources indefinitely.
Kubernetes-commit: 31d1607a514b62ef46452e402f5438d827314b98
The DestroyFunc functions returned by generic.NewRawStorage is never
called when we do a StartTestServer() in the test suite. For a quick
hack for now, added TrackStorageCleanup/RegisterStorageCleanup and
CleanupStorage. Note that unless TrackStorageCleanup is called (which
is called only from the test suite) the other two methods are
no-ops essentially. So no change in behavior at runtime. This vastly
brings down the number of goroutines that are left behind when this
test is executed and should reduce if not eliminate the flakiness
of TestCRD
Kubernetes-commit: 00bcbd1311af711f70c771d790137b93ce48309a
Currently setting watch cache size for a given resource does not disable
the watch cache. This commit adds a new `default-watch-cache-size` flag
to map to the existing field, and refactors how watch cache sizes are
calculated to bring all of the code into one place. It also adds debug
logging to startup to allow us to verify watch cache enablement in
production.
Kubernetes-commit: fc2d201e155296f311ae0a9278b00dcae2d68708
Add a feature gate in the apiserver to control whether paging can be
used. Add controls to the storage factory that allow it to be disabled
per resource. Use a JSON encoded continuation token that can be
versioned. Create a 410 error if the continuation token is expired.
Adds GetContinue() to ListMeta.
