+# Kubernetes Community Event Art
+
+Kubernetes community events are run by the community, for the community, even down to the art! The logo for each Kubernetes Contributor Summit or Maintainer Summit and for each annual Kubernetes Contributor Award, is designed by a contributor.
+
+Art in this repository is shared in this repo for the purpose of recognizing past designers, and to provide artistic inspiration for future designers. These designs are used by the community and shared here with explicit permission from the artist. The community does not own the copyright to these works. Many of these works contain elements from the CNCF, and are governed by the applicable rules and licenses for those elements. See the [CNCF Artwork repo](https://github.com/cncf/artwork) for more details.
