The build system currently creates a shared library on OS X with the
same name as on Linux i.e. libnode.so.48. This is inconsistent with
the conventions on OS X which uses libnode.48.so This commit changes
the build process and install.py (used by make binary) to build with
the correct name on OS X when the --shared configure parameter is used.

state, as gyp seems to be largely abandoned as a project.
Original commit message:
Hash intermediate file name to avoid ENAMETOOLONG
Hash the intermediate Makefile target used for multi-output rules
so that it still works when the involved file names are very long.
Since the intermediate file's name is effectively arbitrary, this
does not come with notable behavioural changes.
The `import hashlib` boilerplate is taken directly
from `xcodeproj_file.py`.
Concretely, this makes the V8 inspector build currently fail when long
pathnames are involved, notably when using ecryptfs which has a lower
file name length limit.

Base the generated openssl.def on existing zlib.def. We cannot specify
more than one DEF file per executable so we need to merge the two DEF
files to expose both OpenSSL and Zlib functionality to addons.
If OpenSSL is not used, link against zlib.def itself.

Use blockquotes instead of code blocks for stability markers in
the docs. Doing that:
- Makes the makers appear correctly when viewed e.g. on github.
- Allows remark-lint rules like `no-undefined-references` to work

cpplint gets too easily confused by C++ constructs that look like
function declarations but aren't. Furthermore, it's arguably a
bad rule that conflicts with gcc's -Wunused-parameter flag.

Currently the license builder is expecting the ICU package to be
found at `deps/icu`. ICU is now included by default and found at
`deps/icu-small`. This commit adds logic to find the license at the new
location.
This could likely be done in a more elegant way, but it works!

The test script (tools/test.py) logs duration as "duration_ms: x.y".
This is confusing (as the duration is measured in seconds).

Previously, output files which were created using includes (notably,
the single-page all.html) had basically broken internal links all
over the place because references like `errors.html#errors_class_error`
are being used, yet `id` attributes were generated that looked like
`all_class_error`.
This PR adds generation of comments from the include preprocessor
that indicate from which file the current markdown bits come and
lets the HTML output generation take advantage of that so that more
appropriate `id` attributes can be generated.

Commit 084b2ec ("test: include component in tap output") introduced
an in hindsight glaringly obvious but fortunately not very critical
Windows-specific bug by failing to take the path separator into account.
This commit rectifies that, the prefix is now correctly stripped.

As the name suggests, it's for internal use only, so don't install it.
Including it in an add-on doesn't work because the file depends on other
header files that are not installed.
Adding it to the install list appears to have been an oversight in
commit 32478acf ("build: unix install node and dep library headers").

The custom linting rule for argument alignment in multi-line function
calls previously ignored template strings in an effort to avoid false
positives. This isn't really necessary. Enforce for template strings and
adjust whitespace in three tests to abide. (Insert "The test abides"
joke of your choosing here.)

Print test name as (for example) "parallel/test-assert". Tests that are
scraped from the addons documentation are all named test.js, making it
hard to decipher what test is running when only the filename is printed.

I often want to run a test many times to see if a failure
can be recreated and I believe this is a common
use case. We even have this job in the CI
https://ci.nodejs.org/job/node-stress-single-test/configure
but often you want to run it on a specific machine.
This patch adds the --repeat option so that
you can repeat the selected set of tests a
number of times. Given existing options
in test.py this will allow you to run
one or more tests for the number of
repeats specified. For example:
tools/test.py -j8 --repeat 1000 parallel/test-process-exec-argv
runs the test-process-exec-argv test 1000 times,
running 8 copies in parallel
tools/test.py --repeat 2
would run the entire test suite twice.
